I stumbled across it while channel surfing and it was being broadcast on Velocity (btw THANK YOU Discovery Channel) and started watching right before the balloon was released and watched it for the next 2 1/2 hours, EPIC tv, this has to be compared to when John Glenn orbited the earth, Evil Kneivel attempting to jump the Grand Canyon. IMO this is epic history that took place today

I think its one greatest things to happen and will go down in history books. Its really something todays children should learn about.
Yeah, that really was something. Especially with Joe Kittinger on the mic as "Capcom." Who else in the world but HIM talking to Felix?
And a bit of drama as well with the visor heater Felix said wasn't working. And then when they were dumping the capsule pressure Felix kept saying the door won't open. No, it won't, you're not equalized yet. Joe was WAY cool.
