it's a point distributor..you can put it in an engine and see how it works. There isn't much demand for them, especially with a number like that (from a 307, built March 17, 1969).
This guy sometimes buys them as cores

Got either olds or pontiac HEI in my small block chevy.. Been in there 15+ years .rear mount dizzy same in chev, olds and pontiac..Comment
