    huh....I thought the olds and pontiac distributors looked like these:

    (although Olds did put a bunch of Chevy engines in their cars, and the Chevy distributor will fit those engines just fine)

      Those look like front mount dizzys..
      I'll have to go pull one..
      I know a 455 olds one went into a 305 chevy..

        I don't think so....go take a look.

        the pics are from rock auto for replacement distributors for an Olds and a Pontiac engine from the early 70s. Both have rear distributors. Buicks have them in front, they're also different.

          Yep, I'm thinkin' they are different. Jegs shows different pics an part numbers online.
