  • Who collects 60's drag magazines?

I'm curious because I've been collecting for quite some time and have paid pretty high prices. However, I've noticed that when I put my doubles on ebay.....2 things.....1-they don't bring shit for money.....2-I see that in a 7 day auction that maybe only 10 or so people even "view" my item. So, not only is no-one buying, but more important is no-one's even "looking". So, what do you think is going on? Serious answers preferred. Thanks

Might have to do with the oldsters who read them as kids are not "into" it any more..
More of the car nuts are into newer stuff

I at one time had a extensive collection ..but, I sold them at a swap meet for peanuts, tired of carrying them around

Groucho , my problem is I like to look through them first.
I bought some a few years ago on e-bay, and when I got them , they had pages missing, ads cut out and such.
So now I buy at swap meets.

          Here's a few of what I've got.
I add to the stash every now and then.
Part of my winter hobby..........get the old mags out and listen to some vintage vinyl.

I've paid some pretty good prices over the years.
Could be the economy.........people can't afford the luxury of having them anymore.
I collect old gauges and noticed a soft market there as well.

Here are most of my Mags, the Hot Rods go back into the early 50's, I'll go back to my garage to look up something and then I'll see something that interests me in another Mag and it might be 3 or 4 hours before I get back to the House, I hope they'll let me bring them with me when my Wife puts me in the Home! Everything is slow on big toys and collectibles and will be until at least after the Election.

I should have every Hot Rod/CC/PHR from 64-70. Now it's the odder titles I'm looking for in those years

If any you guys decide to trash or sell copies of that issue in excellent condition of that issue. Maybe donate it to CC instead. Probably get a box of swag for being so cool.
