Denise, what color is your car?

Denise, I showed my wife, Denise, the pics from dinner the other night and she really liked the color of your car. She was wondering what it was called.

I said periwinkle, but I'm sure I'm wrong.

It's actually a '61 Oldsmobile color called Twlight Mist Poly that was tweeked alittle by my painter Mike Howell AKA Earl Schieb owner of Volunteer Auto Body in Hartsville, TN. The "new" color Mike always teases me and calls "Ladycruiser Lavender".

So true. Most are very surprised to learn there is a 455 under the hood. ;D

It's a little darker than evening orchid. How do I know? It's the original color of my Impala. Wonder why I didn't repaint it that color?

My Grandmother had a 55 Olds coupe that she called "Rosie Oldsey". She absolutely loved that car and cried for days when Granddad traded it in for a blue 69 Olds 98 Regency.
