a couple of points,
While Nascars top series doesnt race dirt, ARCA does, but you are right whether it be the Rock or another track, it should be a mile if racing on dirt.
If the road race comment is a slam, road racing has been in Nascar a long, long time, not just the past few years the newbies have been watching.
Nascar on the radio is much better than on TV, actually some one knowing whats going on and can relate it to the listener.
Nascar changes all the time, but the biggest was not having Winston as the title sponsor, they pretty much kept the house along with Bill France. Sprint only hands the check over and makes sure ATT doesnt sponsor anyone, I call them a sore sponsor. How many times has another beer sponsor won the Busch Pole Award for qualifying? Many, and without whining about being the sponsor.
Brian France is someone I really dont care about.

The trucks are going to run on the dirt at Eldora for 2013, as well as head up here north of the border for a road course race ... both should be fun to watch! I might even buy tickets for the truck race here at Mosport next September.
cheers

Im happy to see NA$CAR declining in popularity, it's created cheaper ticket prices, less congestion getting out of the track after an event.
I enjoyed it when no one else did, and the perks that went with it...
Now it's a crazy money grab, look at Edwards new deal they had to put so many differant names on that car it has no identiy.
