OK, first let me put in a disclaimer here, I have never claimed to be "Sane" but way back in 1969 I had this tow rig, (black trailer w. no box) up to 110 mph, the interesting thing about that was the car held the class record at 98 mph so it had went faster on the trailer then on the strip!

No Sir but that's a good one, it involved a straight stretch on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, a 385 hp 427 Caprice and me trying to get back to work Monday Morning after getting eliminated at Englishtown on Sunday!

David had Truck up to 90+ on the way back from CA with the Avanti and that HEAVY trailer. Truck's only been 117+ at the Ohio Mile. I've forgotten if we were going downhill at the time.

I got passed by a milk truck doing 96mph, all 80,000 pounds worth, back at the end of the 1970's. Apparently the cops weren't as impressed as I was.
