Just a thought.....trying typing your initial question into Google and see the results.
I've done this in the past with my smart phone and got results.

I use Netflix on my pc and Xbox but not directly through my tv.

Your issue sounds software related. Is there a way to update the software/firmware on your tv or at least reset the settings?

I did all that but nothing works. Netflix finally admits to having a problem with no idea when to expect the fix. Apparently it's only partially with Visio, so I might just return the TV for another brand. I have no patience for shit that don't work

I don't want to sit at the PC for 2 hour movies. I spend too much time is this chair already

Bummer to hear about the lack of support. Maybe you can opt for a "non-smart" tv and save a few bucks.

An alternative to using a "smart" tv would be to setup a media pc that would be hooked up to your tv at all times. The most basic pc's today will be more than capable of handling this duty. This way you can watch more than just Netflix. If you want more, there are programs like Windows Media Center and XBox Media Center that can oraganize all your media into one nice library. Or you can simply use your tv as a giant monitor with a wireless mouse and keyboard.

I know when I looked at it there's a lot of titles it won't let you see unless you're using a computer versus a mobile app. I guess it would depend on how Netflix categorizes the tv app, whether it thinks it's a mobile app or not.
