      $100 did not fill a 35 gallon tank from 1/4 tank...

              I paid $0.179 - in 1964. Gas war. So that's my idea of "cheap". Anything more is too much.

                Same price this morning as it was yesterday... TC was just stirring it up a bit, I think.

                I did hear that the US will soon be the worlds largest producer and exporter of oil. It was on the news, not the internet either! ...and the news is never wrong! So, soon (relatively speaking) the gas prices will go down.

                  Check out the gas prices in the background in this pic. 1986. It was around $1.30 in 1983 when I started driving.

                    Don't count on it. As long as other countries are paying double what we pay, the gas that's refined here will be EXPORTED to Norway, Italy, Belguim, Holland, etc. If the production cost plus cost of transportation drops, the oil companies stand to make more money selling overseas than here in the US. Our prices will go UP if anything.

                        We have a few stations here on the west coast of Florida that are between $3.06 and $3.08 right now!!!!!!!!

                        Come On $2.00 range !!!
