I would like to start off by saying cool forum. ;D

My name is Bill, i'm 41 and work at the worlds largest small arms manufacturing company.

I grew up in a familly with a Dad obsessed with Cutlass', 442's, and W-30's. Not to say he didn't like other stuff, but he really liked Oldsmobiles. Like my Dad, I am fond of Oldsmobiles. I have owned my Cutlass since 1986 when my dad brought it up to Minnesota from Phoenix. It still has the original paint. It has been thru many changes while i've owned it, but one thing is for sure, it's not for sale.

Anyhow, glad to be here, and I am excited to see what happens.

            My cars:

            '72 Cutlass S...455, TH400, 4.10's

            '91 Mustang GT...stock 5.0, auto, 3.73's

            '02 Trans Am WS-6...LS1, 6 speed. 3.42's

OK, I just signed up so here goes:

I grew up in a Mopar family in Riverside, California, during the 60s and 70s. I now live in central California but spent all of the 1990s on the East Coast (Columbia, SC, Stamford, CT, and Winston-Salem, NC). My dad was a life-long motorhead and professional mechanic and I inherited his love of cars with no regrets. Although I appreciate all kinds of cars, my dream growing up was to own a Superbird and I was finally able to find a nice one I could afford in 1989 after 13 years of searching all over the US. In 2004 I found a nice 68 Sport Fury convertible (I can't afford an A, B or E body convertible) so now I have these 2 old Plymouths to play around with and I love 'em.

I support my automobile addiction by working as an accountant, I will be 50 on my next birthday, I am married and have 3 sons (14, 12 and 10), and I still play with cars!

Name is Dave. "hello Dave" I'm retired from school district and moved back to childhood home town. Did some drag racing in the '60s but didn't everyone? That's pretty much it, just a boring existence now dinking with the cars and mowing the yard. Oh, and always on the lookout for that "next project".

Hey gang, I registered several weeks ago but haven’t had time to say hey until tonight. I’ve been in Brandon Florida for 19 years, originally from northeast Ohio. As the name implies, I’ve been an Impala guy since the age of 18 having owned two 67’s, two 68’s, and one ’65 over the years (with a ’66 Corvair somewhere in between). Started some not so serious drag racing with my son a few years back and I’m a 2 time PT long hauler. Here’s one of my favorite pictures of my ’67, with the reflection of my ’65 in the quarter panel.

Good day! My name is Spencer Coleman and I'm from Florida (but go to college in Tn). I'm a senior poli sci major at Lee University, where I also work as a teaching assistant. I've been getting greasy the last few years bracket racing a 4-link dragster that my dad and I built, as well as wrenching on various forms of junk that we have scattered about. I knew this place would be boss when I heard Freiburger was responsible for it (...found a link on camaroz28.com).

                              I'm Kurt from Missouri.

Wheel Mechanic in the Army Reserve, currently deployed to Iraq. I'm a machinist in the civilian world. After I return home I plan to move to Houston, TX to attend the School of Automotive Machinist.

As a family we have always been into cars. Dad has a Dodge Demon in his high school days, once my brother and came around we never really had and any hot rods. Always attended as many car shows and events as we could though.

In 5 years of having my license I have had everything from First Gen S-series trucks, Turbo AWD Eagle Talon, Honda Civic's, Third Gen F-bodies, and a Jeep Cherokee. With as expensive as gas is now I think I'll get another Honda to last me through SAM, and build a mid-80's G-body for some stock suspension, drag radial racing after I graduate.
