hey guys, im Jeff Trotta from West Harrison Indiana. I found this place through a thread over at Moparts. I think it was something Bigdad posted. Anyway, I have a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. a real 340 car. i restified it, and it is mostly a cruiser, with occasional trips to the test-n-tune night for fun.

my project car is a 1967 Barracuda Fastback. currently stripped down to the uni body. frame connected, springs relocated. a cage is next on the list.

looking forward to hanging out here. thanks guys.

                    Hi All,

I'm Derryk from British Columbia, about one hour from Canada's left coast.

The only project car I have these days is a '49 Ford two door. I can't wait to get my hands on that flattie...

The rest of my gearhead time is spent wrenching on cheap quads and dirt bikes (our family hobby), and helping out with my son's junior high junior drag racing program. We love living about 10 minutes from Mission Raceway, a great little NHRA quarter mile track that is 24' above sea level.

                    Cheers!

Hey all, Alex here from Minnesota/North Dakota! Live in Fargo, from Detroit Lakes. (where my cars are) Currently going to college, 4th year at MSUM on the 5 year plan. (Mass Communications Major) I was on carjunkietv's website all the time, though never signed up for the forum since im on several others that keep me pretty busy. I check out ls1tech's conversion forum alot, which this entire forum reminds me of! I dig sticking engines into places they arent supposed to be, along with modern things like OD trans and EFI.
My main project car is my 65 mustang, which had a 302 I rebuilt in High School backed by a 3spd. I then went and bought a 5spd for it, though now have decided to swap it to a 5.3L chevy with a 6spd! (Indecision is expensive) Over the summer I chopped out the old front suspension in favor of a Mustang II front suspension from Rod&Custom, adventually want to do something with the rear suspension as well.
Im more of the lurker type, so I cant say how much I'll be posting (especially when I should be doing school work!) but I"ll be around. Great site, thanks
                          Alex

The mustang when it was actually presentable. Went through alot of work to get it to that point. (Was an original 6cyl car)

Kind of how the engine sits now. This shot it deceiving, since the rotating assembly isnt in it, along with the cam.

How it sits now. Going to strip the major areas with chemical/sanding, then have the detail areas Glass blasted in the spring.

This is me. Yeah, you get messed up after inhaling too much stripper fumes and paint chips. Destruction in the background.

Newb here from SW PA. Been a motorhead all my life. Mostly GM products, but I've owned a few Chryslers & some foreign stuff, too. Owned my 454SS for 18 years & done all work myself. It may not look all that custom, but it has plenty of mods -- I like subtle & fast. I just finished a frame off resto on my '66 GTO. Plan to enjoy it this year instead of working on it. Got a few projects in my head that I plan to build in the near future. I've done the Power Tour twice in my pickup, and plan to do it again sometime (Long Hauler in 2007).
