hey all, just joined the greates site ever (at least thats what ive been told)

names dustin, and im from oak creek, wisconsin... My car. (and dont laugh,) is a 76 chevy vega (cosworth) not much for now but she is my first car, had her for almost 3 years now ever since i was 15.... it was orgionaly a colorado car, and i got her with 18000 orgional miles on it and a half done 383 v8... sadly by parents choice the v8 was sold and im curently using the rebuilt orgional 122ci I4. not alot of engine there. she has the dual weber carbs instead of the EFI it came with.. now making (i assume any where from 160-190hp) so far ive only done the basics, +paint and got it back into like new condition, future mod list is about a mile long but some time soon im wanting to drop in a 2.0 ecotec turbo out of a solstice gxp (290hp 315tq with GM ecu chip upgrade) and suposably streetable up to 500+), tints, and a set of konig rewing rims.... glad to be apart of this site

any one feel like checking out my ride pleace visit http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2958828 and also feel incouraged to make a domain of ur ride as well, pretty cool site minus all the imports, but cool none the less.

      Cosworth Vegas Rock!
      Welcome.
Aside from a turbo version of the original motor (great cylinder head), A forced induction ecotoc is the perfect motor for that car. ;)

          Hey there--
Brian here from AZ. I'm a hot rod designer/artist, and I draw cars to support my wife and kids (against the better judgement of virtually every school teacher I ran into all of my life...) and run Problem Child Kustoms Studio.
I'm currently gathering parts for my eldest son's first car, a '79 Cutlass Salon that will get an LS2 swap and some other goodies along the way...
Glad to stumble across the site... looks killer!

As tiresmoke! asked me to introduce myself here i will do.
My name is Alex(actually Alexey) and i live in Moscow. I'm 21 and i study at engineering faculty, now i'm workless for a couple of months. Any of my relatives never had nothing with automotive industry, instead of the fact our family changed a lot of cars, but i always loved messing with vehicles. My first was a weird kind of bicycle with 50cc, in the childhood, at the age about 15 i have bought very used 250cc bike. I really think i spent more hours fixing it than riding, it gave me a lot of experience. Then was an Opel Astra, it was ok and it is still my daily driver. As i already said in my thread in projects forum once i saw an American car and i fell in love with that things, i like special things and being not like most. In Russia old school is very very rare and that makes it even more cool. We have a little fullsize/muscle/old school scene but most of people prefer rice and other crap. For me almost any tuned modern car feels booooring, i need a hot rod spirit. So that's why i have bought my Ford and trying to make one-of-a-kind cool vehicle.
That's all. I will answer any of your questions with pleasure.

                        I'm probably wrong

                          Hello everyone!
I was refer-ed here by a friend who I met through our sons soccer team!
As you may or probably know my name refers to a series of colours my favourite muscle car company put out back in the day....AMC of course!
My first AMC muscle car was the fastest to be sure,a 1969 390 SST loaded, I had the motor professionally done.
You name it and it was done to the motor.
I had it built back in 1978-79 and it and the converted manual shift Torqflite Tran with new rear end gears ran me over 7 k back then iirc!!!!
10Q OIL PAN,750 hOLLEY,Dual points, ported polished heads, polishedsteel forged crank, extra hd fan, rad, headers, balanced and blueprinted, top of the linelifters etc, high lift cam hi stall t converter....blah blah you get the pic, sorry to bore you....this thing screamed!!
I used to love beating Chev's in particular.so many despite the distributor location would swear its a 350 LT 1!!!

I could bore you to tears with tales of that car.
                          I later bought a 1970 Javelin Mark Donahue 360 4 speed in Orange...very sweet
A 1968 Javelin AMX 390 4 SPEED.....sold it to keep my then wife happy..didn't work
A 1968 Javelin SST 343...gave to first wife's mom to make first wife happy...see above
                          A 1972 Javelin/AMX 401 Pierre Cardin project car....see two above
                          And lastly a 1974 Javelin 360 met green...nice looker and driver,,also gone

So you see I probably bleed red, white and blue!

Great looking site, I look forward to being a member.
I am a single dad now with my oldest who's 14 next month living with me and encouraging me to buy another Javelin of all things, course he also loves the new Challengers lol....HEMI of course!
