  • Re: Newbies Introduce Yourself Here! Welcome!

Hello everyone! After lurking for about 2 years, I think it's time to join the fun. My name's Mike, I live in Wheatfield NY (near Niagara Falls). My sons, ages 22 and 20, and I have four cars, a 65 GTO (mine), 68 Bonneville (ours), 67 LeMans (son Mike's), and a 63 Beetle (son Andy's). See pics. We were able to go on Power Tour with 65longroof last year with the Bonny and had a riot.

We do most of the work ourselves and enjoy seeing the fruits of our labor. Looking forward to talking to everybody.

The Goat currently has 400 with a tri power and a rock crusher.

The Bonny will have a new quick ratio steering box and a 200 R4 tranny over the winter.

My son Andy's bug was finished this year and he has been driving the heck out of it. It was not running when we bought it and it was quite a thrill when he finally drove it. We must have done decent work because it runs very well and doesn't leak any oil!

Mike's Lemans has a bad OHC in it and is waiting to get worked on (college kid with no money)
