I could stay nice and leave subaru logo there, adding the gm emblem below..neater than this, a bit more tucked.

or give this mint condition grill..missing subarus logo, the gm logo entirely. blacken around the label, fill in with clear epoxy/urethane.

still have not learned what "GL" is. Volvo used that too.

the biggest engine with air conditioning is classically a grand touring. That is where GT should have stayed. That has been shamefully manipulated in the past..

I also found the gm emblem fits off to the right on the fins. Will get it in there someplace visible.

way down on the screen after you hit "post new thread", takes you to new screen, and you set up the poll.

I am not much of art imagination..I figured out later, six screws for six stars (subaru) aligned around the square gm logo..and its a boxer.

interpret function over form later. Artsy enough, realistic enough. I am also terrible with bondo. bumps on my cars is the .25 inch thick 70,000 psi bubble made of steel.

the grill in photo is my oldest, a 12/86...and never broke.
that is how to decipher old subes paint codes, or many cars for that matter, being bad or good. look at condition of grill if it is the same color of car. helps decipher steel problems..and to blame paint or not.

funny, but that was one of the reasons I handed over 500 bucks for the rustbucket 6 years ago. The grille never broke.
