*EDIT* I trolled the intranets, and think i found my answer - if what he said is true, he deserves it being a person like him in that position

Seeing the title and being an old Detroit area guy, I wondered what Larry was doing driving a bus. You see, years back DSR stood for Detroit Street Railway, the trolley car company in the city. This eventually became the bus company when trolleys were phased out but later was taken over by a municipal organization and got a name change.
