Out of the blue this morning I get an email from someone with a "@holley.com" address asking if I had a minute to provide feedback on Holley's current EFI systems... I figured Chad or Brian gave them my number, but nope - this guy was googling and read some of my opininions, googled some more and found my email address.
So i got his contact info and called him directly. Turns out it was a Test / Development engineer for the Dominator, Terminator and Avenger EFI systems.
I spent about 30 minutes talking with him, discussing everything from LS crank and cam sensor pickups, to onboard diagnostics, to end-user training (my biggest gripe with EFI systems, POOR TRAINING AND DOCUMENTATION).
I was absolutely floored that a major manufacturer would reach out to end users like this... I thought that kind of concern died long ago!
Anyhow, just wanted to share that I think it's cool that Holley has guys out there doing the best they can to improve their products. I am impressed! Way to go Holley!!
(and they're a sponsor here!)
(I'm doing a complete Dominator EFI installation in about a month for a new LSR project I am working on, a twin turbo 300ci LS engine that will make around 1500hp in race trim, I'll be sure to post results here when we're done tuning).
