I'm going to bring this thread back from the dead now that I'm looking at Thunderbirds as well as Lincolns. I have my eye on this thing: http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/3620467797.html
If it's not utter trash, it will be mine before the month is up.
This thread also reminded me of the 1994 Thunderbird SC that my room mate and I shared back in 2004. It was a manual car. We changed the rear gear and added a ported blower with a smaller pulley. It was surprisingly fun! Kind of miss that car. Had I stayed on at school longer, I would have bought it from him. Thinking about finding one as a daily driver now but that would take away from my budget for a project car.1970 Camaro RS - SOLD | 2000 Camaro SS - Traded in for a Hyundai...

That's a dirt cheap price for a complete T Bird. If it isn't a total rust bucket underneath it's well worth the price. The interior looks like it needs a good scrubbing and a carpet to be ready for cruising.
Sitting for years means it will need the brakes gone through front to back. The one concern I see in the pics is that there is wheel chocks in a car that has an auto trans. That can't be good.BS'er formally known as Rebeldryver
