My friend used to use something he bought at a truck stop in PA,I cant remember the name of it you sprayed it on and pretty much washed it off with a hose and the metal looked good,he used to use it on spoke wheel covers (hard to clean) metal wash was on the bottle but I cant remember the name.
I found it !

0000 steel wool dipped in soapy water will get much of the muck off without scratching it. SOS pads will work too. Then I use Blue Magic to polish. Then again, looking at that trailer, I wouldn't bother.Last edited by Scott Liggett; January 31, 2013, 08:26 PM.BS'er formally known as Rebeldryver

I have the what appears to be the same trim on mine but it's a cheapy so I think it's a plastic. I guess it depends on how deep the stain is, so Aluminum wheel polish won't cut it? There are Conversion shops up in Coburg that could bring it back to a mirror finish but I'm with Scott unless you're going to enter it in a show!sigpic
