What do you guys use to polish stainless steel on trailer bottoms?

    I helped restore a B-29 and we polished the hell out of that plane. My god the hours I spent on the wings. The museum did not want us to use any kind of chemical compund. they feared they may damage the aluminum and stainless. Anyway, flour and water is what we used and it works well.

    Also....for shits and grins....grab a lemon and cut it in half, dip one half in salt and buff away. the acid and salt is great for copper, I cant see how it would be any worse for stainless...
