    Wacky Weather

    Well, normally this time of year I am kicked back, windows down radio up making fun of all the nothern folk who are kneed deep in snow and freezing their who-ha's off.
    This time of year I am rubbing in the fact that I went to a car show, went for a cruise, worked outside in shorts and a teeshirt....but not this year. It snowed in the Valley Saturday. It snowed some last night. There was a truck in the lot with an inch of snow on it. My car was a sheet of ice when I got up...sorta. Meanwhile in Pa it was in the mid 60's according to friends and family.

    it's kind of amazing, we've had our normal "cold" snap, but it was 10 degrees warmer than normal. We've had a dusting of snow... normally we get a week or two a foot or two deep.

    I'm okay with this, let Arizona have the snow

    btw.... if you were looking for sympathy, you'll find it between sh*t and syphilis in the dictionary

      3-4" of snow here this morning. Boo. Good wet snow, but we need to have guys working! Not sitting in the office!

        Sympathy? I give none, therefore I expecct none. We dont normally get cold snaps. This kind of weather is just plain odd, the kind of crap I expect living in Pennsylvania. 65 one day and 4 inches of snow the next then 3 days later its 55 again. Its not a bad thing for the area as a whole. The additional percipitation is always welcome here...but It would be nice if it came without the cold...

            its a great line and there are moments to use it that send it into spectacular status.

            For example, some airman comes in sobbing to me because his supervisor hates him and makes him do work. He has it so rough that he hardly has any time to spend with his girlfriend, or some other bullshit like his car broke down and wild flying monkeys slashed his tires--thats why he was late for work...... For a while you play the concerned parent role...then you drop that bomb on them and tell the to get the F*&^ out fo your office...spectacular.

              I have considered winter over.

              44F now.. was -9F about 30 hours ago.

              this summer. ouch. here it comes.
