But given the venue, taking that car out onto a real road course, and slinging it around like we'll never have a chance to do on the street, that got me. I mean that GOT me. I have to go do that again. I'll never set any records (although I did by accident one time, in a straight line) that road course thing is just too cool to be true. I'd recommend it to anybody, although it's only because I enjoyed it so much and the next person may not like it at all. That's just my thing. I found "it." That's what it is.
the "it" is knowing you are in a top realm without words, and energy of anyone witnessing just feeds it to mythological.

a legless runner can have "it", a wheelchair olympian can have "it"
      .

anyone can, if they try and succeed.

putting two bullets through the same hole, still gains "it"...one does not need human witness to gain "it" after all...

Extremely well stated Boxer. Yeah, the "it."

Whatever "it" is. I'm so glad I found "it." It took 55 years, but there "it" is. And it'll be different for everybody, whatever the "it" is.

Notice how at the beginning of the last lap Patrick was 3rd and by the end she was 8th, everyone just drove around her, that's what happens when you show all your cards in qualifying......

she made a mistake not jumping when Earnhardt moved(and stayed trapped behind Biffle) and she knew it just couldn't say it on tv....she still needs to learn to own it. She did run a good race, pit box choice not good for her though.

The start your engines debacle is what happens when Hollywierd types get involved.
Maybe I can clear this up.....I thought the cop was a prostitute.

the girl did good. She made her sponsors proud. She's a quality spokesperson in a BIG BUSINESS. She's also a pretty damn good driver and if I was a single guy I wouldn't kick her out of the sack. She's got a lot of class, handles the good old boy bullshit pretty well.

We watched on and off at my dad's house while bs'ing and eating, a lot more laps than I can say we've watched at my house for years. I don't know what that means. I still wish I didn't have to squint for the sticker of what kind of car it is.

I bet the Toyota guys got their asses handed to them this morning. What was that all about?

No mistake, her car just didn't have the power like the other cars had.....

I'd bet her car wasn't more than 5 h.p. different than the 48. The difference among the Hendrick-affiliated Chevrolets was mostly experience. The 48 had clearly worked more on single car handling (not follow the leader) , which showed when it came time to go.

on the restart she was up front she pulled away by about 2 cars then got pulled back. Her only problem was she is a newbe and is treated like one. Those around her dont know if they can trust her and she doesnt know them either. To win a plate race requires that your help finish secound.
