Fact: You've driven on a road course once.
Fact: She's qualified with the best lap on the pole position of the biggest stock car race in the world.
Fact: She has survived wrecks that most of us would probably use as an excuse to never drive again let alone race door to door at over 200mph.
    Fact: Haters gonna hate.

    All true.

Like I said I'm a fan, somewhere on the net Im sure could be found the (from ESPN) video of her winning the KART championship back about 10 years ago. In the pouring rain on the streets of OKC (IIRC). I believe she lapped back to 3rd place, out of 25. She had that thing locked sideways about everyturn.
    She can drive.

All that said, and I like her,her RACECRAFT is lacking at times, and she has an AJ Foyt on crack X10 Temper! I think that effects her many time on track.

I do wish she would take a few off series rides, endurance type races, some short track stuff, even a few sprint car drives. With her KART work I think she would be very fun to watch in a sprint car.

Okay Cyclone, were you and I raised from birth to do that? (yes I'm resentful) Were your parents so rich and goal-driven that you raced something as soon as you could reach the pedals? (yes, I'm resentful and jealous).

I could go on, never mind. In my mind all of my life, I could do that, but it's too late. And now I'm too old. Wasn't handed it all.

Newsflash: If she was handed it all, so wasn't every driver on the grid. Look at all of their backgrounds and you'll see a common pattern. They've all been racing stuff since they could walk.

My point entirely Brian. If Daddy's into it, you step into it.

          Otherwise, it's an impossible path.

I'm just wondering how much skill a person needs to have to drive a car that is making a constant left hand turn... I mean you can go to DisneyWorld and drive a Nascar and I believe the top speed on those cars are 150mph..... But with everything practice plays a big roll.... Saying that, I see myself as a Nascar driver that would intimidate the Intimidator.......

P'Dub, when I hit the lottery, we'll go Nascar racing and show them what's up.......

I think it's a little more than that, I think there is a bit of I Don't Give a FK attitude that you have to have in order to win..... I mean you know what your car can do, now how willing are your to push it past those limits to win....... I guess after wrecking a few times at 200mph and walking away, your IDGAF meter registers on the high side and it makes it easier to push the limits..........

...and I am pretty sure I could make Tom Brady look like a third stringer.

Here's a question, how many people that have started in the Pole Position, have finished first??.......

It's not what it looks like. And that comes from just a few laps on a road course in a tame setting. On camera from afar it looks so lame, but in the car there's hell going on. Just about to lose it. Just about. And that's in a tame setting, not even racing another car for position. DAYum I've got to go do that again. And I will.

I liked it so much I spent XXXX to make Red do it better. He's ready.

I think it's an illness, the racing thing. Even if you're not racing anybody else. Just racing around. Dadgum that's fun. I'm a case in point.

TC... No disrespect... Either to you or from me.. Either way.. Ok? Fair enuff?
Here is what you need to do.. Get a car.. You like chevys. So get one. 73-76 Impala, if you can find one..
Build it for YOUR local derby.. Utah has some pretty mad hatters.. I don't know about Airazona
Peg your IDGAF meter.. Seriously.. I am not shitting you.. Do It..
                                See how far you get..
Be alot cheaper than a roundy round car..
You WILL learn something about yourself..

As for NASCAR, they are on the brink of adhession.. Like driving on ice..
