  • Canadians are hard to love

When they do things like this....

I didn't think anyone would go to so much work to make this car slower.... but I didn't calculate the Canadian angle

Mind you, it's not even a cool diesel (as evidenced by my unending love of them)... it's a detroit diesel of the 6.2l 6.5l persuasion.

yeah yeah it almost seems red/green show material - but no, it's real

    I love it.

in another life, I'd give all he was asking and double it.

I get along with kenahdans...they relate more to tough stuff needed. I am subscribed to a couple of the channels, diy builders...

I saw a cummins powered vette some where, was really thinking it was one of the power tours...

Is it really slower...I mean, it was no real power house when it was built. as good a use for a disco vette as any I guess. Crazy Canuks...

hey now! we know the only reason they put rear-window defrosters on Mustangs is because you would freeze your hands pushing it if they weren't there

That joke was funny when they told it about Yugos. http://www.cartalk.com/content/whats...r-millennium-0

              Go diesel. . . Go diesel . . . Go diesel 'Vette!

ELEVEN REASONS TO PUT A DIESEL IN A CORVETTE

                11. Money saved at the pump can be invested in more Tommy Bahama shirts and Italian loafers.

                10. Diesel exhaust is handy for mosquito fogging down at the country club.

                9. Combats the shortage of innovative Canadian engineering since the "Red Green Show" ended. http://www.redgreen.com/

                8. Provides a nice excuse for those truck stop "companionship" visits.

                7. C.P.A. said you might be able to write it off your taxes as a "work truck." (may require the full "El Camino" conversion, though)

                6. Just the thing to shut up your egg-headed neighbor who goes on and on about the diesel Audis at Le Mans.

                5. Will smoke "Smokey" Dulcich's MoPar econo-rod.

                4. Run Drag Week on one tank of fuel.

                3. More road-hugging weight helps your 'Vette have more of that fail-safe understeer.

                2. Nubile coeds love the "bad boy" smell of diesel on a "real" man's hands.

                1. It's what Zora would do. . . No, really . . .

I'd drive it...... and I don't like Vettes.

                        Needs side pipes though!

brilliant - just like the dude that ran a duramax in a mustang on dragweek - absolutely brilliant.

Mom was a Canadian as was dear Auntie Sis (Mom's aunt) so I have a soft spot for Canadians. AND I like the 'Vette concept but I think he should have popped for a Duramax. But a Gen III really can't be hurt.
