  • Exhaust flapper

Anyone know where to score one of those exhaust flapper deals that you see on semi trucks with vertical stacks? Guys with dragsters sometimes have them as well.

I'm putting a stack on my tractor and will need one.

I'm thinking Dulcich will be the man on this one, but someone out there in CJTV land should have some info.

Honestly, pretty much any exhaust shop can help you with that.

Those were available when I worked at Midas.

TSC stores have all sizes (Tractor Supply Company)

Try any local agricultural dealership such as CaseIH or JohnDeere, they should all be able to set you up. I work at a Case IH dealership, if you need help send me your specs and address & I'll hook you up.

Jay....that's about 3 inches bigger than necessary for this application...he he.

Stiney...I'm going to poke around, but if I come up dry, I'll be dropping you a line.

What do you do at the dealership? Sell 'em, fix 'em, or performance test em'? ;D

            Re: Exhaust flapper

Most days I razz the parts guys by finding "new & different" applications for the stuff we already have on the shelf. I'm currently making a column shifter using a control cable listed for a combine....

Technically I'm a number cruncher....... I do the books & count the cash, handle financed contract deals, etc. But I have been known to help out in the shop on occassion. We're a pretty laid back family oriented establishment. I'm very fortunate to be here.
