I've flamed many people in many forums, but then didn't post. it's cathartic.

I first heard about it in a bio of Lincoln. He'd scold his generals, then never send the letter, writing a more reasoned message instead.

Typing IS talking. Matt told me a story last weekend about a person he worked with who, "Didn't have a fuse between the brain and the mouth."

That's rich, that analogy. We all think stuff but it doesn't matter as long as we don't really SAY it.

EDIT: In fact, that's what a lot of old folks end up doing. Brain puke, no discretion. If I get like that, and I might, y'all just point that out to me on the Big Screen, and I'll go turn in my driver's license.
