  • Had a great time this weekend...

Went to Keith and Tonya's this past weekend and had a blast. It was nice to get away from Pensacola for a little while. The 32 Ford is an absolutely beautiful car. Pictures don't do it justice. The Disco Nova looks as good in person as she does in the magazines. It's going to be a fun ride when they're done with it.

And last but not least, I can't say enough nice things about Keith and Tonya. IMO, you won't find a better class of people. They didn't know me from Adam, and yet they invited me up to their house anyway. For that, I thank both of them.

Your right - they are great to hang out with. They even put up with me, but maybe it's just because I had Mary Ellen with me (she's hard not to like). They even took us on a tour of their fair city - how can you beat a Boll Weevil statue?

Glad you got a nice break.

It wasn't that bad looking when I saw it at your open house. It did have dirt and muck from sitting around the old HR shop for years. Polishing the chrome and cleaning the interior can do miracles.

I have several projects going at a time... the Disco has actually made a bit of head way this last month... but it's on the back burner compared to finishing the 32... ( the niggly stuff, like making the gauges work like Gauges and stuff ) and getting the new CM450-Hondamatic sorted out for Tonya...

Shannon it was a treat to host you... again feel free to come up and spend the night... we'll play with the Hot Rod and let you whittle on your junk...

Yes, the interior needs help...but the body was in outstanding shape. The paint and striping looked really good, and the "Disco Nova" painting on the trunk lid really sets it off. Cars of that vintage (where I live at anyway) ususally look like they've been to Hell and back.

Keith, I'll give you a call later. I got some info to pass onto you...

Can the guy that built the car really blaspheme it?

My guess is that Joe wasn't around in the 70s when half the novas on the road had 4 doors, air shocks, cherry bombs, and 307s.
