    Lord....my prayers have been answered.

    I am writing from a hospital bed as I slipped into a coma after reading this today. GREATEST EFFING THING EVER!

    I will do whatever it freaking takes to be involved in this at some level in 2014.

          Truck can have a sale value of no more than 5K. You'd have to go into this thing with a group of 6-8 guys throwing 1000-1500 I think. I have found a ton of old clapped out Macks and Freightliners on CL around me for 4-6K, so the trucks are there. Needs to have a cage installed, and then tires would be the big expense, but recaps aren't THAT bad. Someone asked how you'd tow it to races, which would be a challenge. I'd freaking drive it to Virginia if that's the closest race to me. Getting the bashed up truck home would be another story.

            You'd nearly have to include a big rig tow truck driver in the team, or an excavator with a low boy trailer and a semi....

            we need streaming video of one of these events!

                Are cab overs not allowed? I'd think they're shorter wheel base would be an advantage?

                  Cab over are allowed. Minimum weight is 12,000lbs. As long as it weighs that much, you're in.
