is that "oops" or "oopsie daisy"
were I the mechanics (now, I'm sure former mechanics) - I think I'd be more worried by the owner's "calm" response to being told tweedle deed and tweedle dum just totalled his car
in any case, with application of a couple hundred thousand euros, that'll buff out.Last edited by SuperBuickGuy; March 29, 2013, 06:44 AM.Doing it all wrong since 1966

When I was young I always thought it'd be fun to be a mechanic and get to thrash some of the more interesting customer cars. As I neared that position in life that was the furthest thing from my mind. I don't care if a 10 second car comes in my shop......if I'm only making a repair that doesn't require test driving, it doesn't leave my shop for anything until the customer gets it. I know guys that'll beat the shit out of a customer car after installing a radio.STUGOTS

But that sort of thing is not on the customer's mind when taking a car to the shop. At Least it's not on my mind. The farthest thing from it.
The more cliche thing is for the elite folks dressed out and going to the fancy ball at the Hilton or somewhere and handing the car keys to the valet parking person. "Don't scratch it."
I've never had to do that, probably never will. That would drive me crazy. Somebody else driving the car in a tight parking lot, somewhere I can't even see.Charter member of the Turd Nuggets

Looking at the damage and considering the current values; it is totally worth fixing.
My old doctors office only valet parking. I have threatened valets with a good beating if I catch them beating on my car. The ones who treated it with respect always got a good tip.Last edited by Scott Liggett; March 29, 2013, 11:48 AM.BS'er formally known as Rebeldryver

Here, you can tell the mechanic its a stage 1 as he bucks and stalls it in front of you..
can't mention full pedal braking either.. I bet they stomp on those too to hear.. oh my god.. all four of them doing something at the same time.
there is serious wheels... they don't do what the others do.
the gullwing is an I-6 gas 3 liter. maybe for its time with the way they painfully made chassis the value is that high. I just don't see it.Previously boxer3main

Know a gal valet at the casino, she dented, scratched and cracked 3 hi dollar cars before they got wise and piss tested her.. Wired shitless on meth, no judgement, thus her screw ups... Of course she got fired..

I treat all the cars that i work on with respect. i fix everything from $500 beaters to $100,000 Mercedes, if they need a test drive they get one, if its just a bulb or simple fix the car goes in the shop, then to the parking spot. when i have to test an expensive car it gets an extra thought of care.give me a car and i will fix it!!!
