  • PC Gamers, need advise on video card.

My Radeon video card in my computer at home took a dump. It has been a good one but it's probably 6 or 7 years old now. Fan on it quits and it overheats and locks up the puter.

Anyway, just wondering if there are any suggestions on a replacement. I do play games with lots of graphics.

If you were able to get by with a 6 year old card, then you'll be content with anything that's on the market (new) now.....

Try replacing the fan. I've done it a couple times.

I replaced my old Radeon with a newer one. I think it's a 512 mb, but it works pretty darn well with my newer games. It doesn't like my old ones. I'd buy the best one you can afford. I know there are ones as cheap as $19 all the way up to $1000.
