    • A friend had a 73 with that hood and the rear spoiler. Those cars dont look right without one.

This is a touchy subject with me Scott. It's a factory Formula (u-code) and it didn't come with one. What would you do?

        • ANY WAY....

I know where a 68 Chevelle is sitting and technically it's a new day.

            I'd install a rear spoiler.

The big plan right now is to get her running and drive. Little bit of gas down the carb and she fired. I can also tell you I feel a lot better about selling the Nova. It was a nice trade-up. The cash flow wasn't there to finish and this one has a drivetrain.

Well the PO of mine added one, so I think I will keep it. Is yours really valuable without the fin? My 72 has an X in the VIN, which makes it kinda rare and desirable, and I am keeping the fin on when I rebuilt it.

In 1972 the 455 was sent out with what heads when installed in a Formula/TA or GTO? I have another X VIN Bird, its a 79, but that year doesnt mean its the engine, it means it is a 10th Anniversary. Just kinda lucked into two X birds.

If you like shots in the dark this could prove to be interesting: http://flagstaff.craigslist.org/cto/3754408590.html
I haven't talked to the guy so I don't know the story.

                          • Took some hours, but this one is on the wall at work. It's a photo of a photo. I don't want it but I might if I didn't already have Red. Well, I WOULD want it if I had Jay Leno's garage and a blank check. And I don't have any idea if this is a good price or or not.

Seen my cars? I dont give two craps for what was factory. I care about making my cars look like what I think looks cool. Do what you want on yours.

PW little high for a coupe, offer $7500 go to $8500,you wont make any money on it but it would be a fun little driver, thats about what it would cost to build if you did the labor starting with a $2500 car.
