I just watched that vid, and if I counted correctly...

That dude had like 25 sheets of plywood in the back of a minivan.

    AWESOME.

There's so much more I want to say about this, but I don't even know where to start.

Do it yourselfer? Want to build a shed, but don't know how? Why not get a book on it? Lowe's or Home Depot have several to choose from. Even if a person can't read, looking at the pictures and trying to mimic them would probably result in a better structure than that!

Iused to see a lot of sheds that looked like that.

I was in the home building and remodeling business for about 35 years and over the time many of the people I build homes for also wanted a shed built.

Many would purchase kits with all the wood and parts and stuff included.

Once they tried building themselves with their sons they would call me and ask for help.

The bag of bolts, nuts and nails would sometimes have over 3,000 parts in a plastic bag.

Many would ask me where the floor is and how come it was not included or where was the ramp to drive the tractor inside the shed.

For me it would be ten times harder trying to read the 35 pages of instructions and laying out all the parts then if I just had the lumber delivered and framed the conventional way.

I used to ask the customer if they wanted a floor, concrete footing or maybe pier and beam style of flooring. Some wanted electric run underground to their shed.

Those sports bike guys got to 68 pages and 1000 posts and counting. Seriously? Their time must be even more worthless than ours. And yes it makes feel better about my crap projects.

starting my teenage years in the building trades(roofing/siding early 60's Chicago) and progressing thru as an adult as a Texas Frame carpenter, to cornice, int trim, cabinet shop, eventually to furnituremaker....I am speechless. It just can't be real.....how could you possibly do EVERYTHING wrong, unless you tried? Amazing.

me and my brother learned at the same time. Check grains, crown up for the roof.
in fact, there is a lot of cheapskate if to learn the old way and actually build from ground up today. it is sad..
but not nearly as sad as that shed.

my brother has busted but ground up house and everything inbetween for just over 20 years, non stop.. all year.
he'd get a kick out of this.
I wish he had a computer for play.
