  • Neat old bike

Boss at the shop I worked at through HS also collected old Schwinns, he even gave me a 1978 Schwinn Stingray.
So I've had an affinity for old Bikes, also have a Red White and Blue 1976 Free Spirit
but this, this is something I've never even seen before

Rumors of my demise by rollover have been greatly exaggerated.

I knew I have seen that. where I grew up the 400 haros and gt, a dime a dozen.

there is also one with suspension, don't know if that is huffy.

I went for bikes like my cars today. I don't care how heavy it was, as long as the pedals were long.

Great find, sent me way back on the way back machine. I still have a Schwinn banana seat from a Scrambler somewhere, but it's pretty new. '77 I think. Haha. I broke the big sissy bar in one of those epic wipeouts where I started tho think the newfangled DG or FMF might have some merit. After I broke the frame a few years later, I decided i was too big for 20" bicycles.

The steering wheel bike would be a class action suit today, and a 2.125x20" slick was never that good of an idea, but somehow I managed to buy one.

My big regret was never having "tuff wheels" or the really heavy bastard Moto-mags. I could have been cool then.
