I saw that, why the heck don't you people clean out the underbrush out there. That would at least prevent a lot of the fires.
This one burned 15 square miles of it. Kinda pricey to get removed. There are literally thousands of square miles of dead grass and bushes around the LA basin. It rains in winter, things grow, then it all dies in summer from no rain. Some dumb shit flicks a cigarette butt out the window on a day with 70 mph winds and 5% humidity and whoosh, we got fires.
