Hopefully the history can really be documented, or it's just a great story. This is Ebay, and no way to tell if the seller and the person responding to the auction know each other or not. The interesting thing is you can ask what ever you want and maybe you just might find someone who falls in love with the car.
It also depends on how long you are willing to wait for the right person to come along.
Right now I know many guy's that have projects half completed and have either run out of money or interest to finish the car.
