I lived through that era and have NO fond memories of that "street freak" style-hated it then, hate it now. Bunch of parts that looked ridiculous AND didn't work. They were the original donks.

It made me smile...so many of these running around when I was a kid...most had quarter and rocker rot.

I would do the interior up nice and leave the rest alone....mabey a high rise intake and some gold valve covers
