Having been messin' with a REAL one yesterday (serial number 006) I have to agree. Raymond Lowey and Associates had that body PERFECT and the 4 doors really don't fit the shape. My guess is that the Texas group who built a number of the Avanit II's were hoping to appeal to a bigger audience (like the 4-door T-birds) and thought they'd try this. I never knew they actually made them. A place about 7 miles from me had a body of one of those laying around. Guess it was never put on a frame. Its a parts house called Studebaker International.Leave a comment:
