    here's some oldschool open header music of my 11.1:1sbc running a GM #140 cam . you can definitely hear the wild 70's style lope from this cam

    even after all the learning into modern, that sound..it is a serious function for the parts given.

    I only had one wild one. Loved it.

            They both sound sweet. my 87 T/A has a rust hole in the bend in the pipe right befre the muffler behind the axle. And while it did sound best as a new 3' cat back flowmaster system, I'm kind of digging it when I row through the gears hard.

              That's too cool Randal, I wish they would have had dash operated cut outs back when I had fast street cars, I can remember laying in the snow (not that I ever did any street racing) with a 1/2 inch wrench!

                i've always had and what's on my Camaro now are the old style 3 bolt flange exh cut outs

                              Ok I will raise you a high compression 455 with Summit exhaust under it.



                              And a 65 GTO with a mild 400 and open head pipes!
