Yea, no shit. This 66 Satellite I just picked up refuses stop once you hit drive. It's possible there's more to this car than meets the eye...

Make sure the pads aren't on backwards too. So many people think the big ones go on the front.

I never thought of it like that. Never would have thought that would work with brakes.

old racers trick.. to keep the brakes self energizing system from locking up a wheel at speed.. deadly on a front drum brake car..

Also used on a car forsale that has a wiped out front end that grabby brakes would make car switch lanes

There was some kind of weird cryptic computer stuff before my post. Must have been spam that got removed.

                    your thinking of blinker fluid.
The pause inbetween blinks, still a risk.

Could also be blinker bulb timing?
                      Seeems I read something?......

sadly the muffler bearing joke lost it's feel with the age of the turbo..

atf in the master is an old trick to limp it along - supposed to make the seals swell and improve braking until you can replace the master.

I agree with the others - if it's only got brakes going backwards the drums are not right - likely the long shoe is on the front and your other things are fubared
