I'm going to say the speed at which I move these days is more turtle like than squirrel or sbg like, and leave the early transitionary point of life out of it.

Okay let's talk about a land speed record. I beat myself up for a whole year over that, but I'm way over that. If anybody wants to beat that speed, they'll have to build up a car. I did it in a stock Mustang. Mashed the gas and held it down for a mile. Got so dang close to 140 that somebody will have to build a car with all that garb (good garb - safety garb) on it to go faster and stay within the rules.

Lucky lucky lucky. That record in class is mine. Nobody's cared to beat it, or they already would have. It's only money (building up a car).

When I got here on BS I didn't even have a car that would pass a school bus but from running around with Matt and watching events I got real interested in speed.

And still I am not a car guy. I don't work on the car (well, except for changing the brakes out for better ones).

I put gas in it. I drive it, that's it.

Scott, how can you consider yourself to be an outsider if you are here at all?

That's reverse therapy, treating myself. I send myself bills all the time and I don't pay em.
