This goes against every pulse in a car person's body, but someday it might be true. I don't think so, but it sure doesn't matter what I think.
It's presented to be a solution for all of us who get too old to drive but can still get there and back anyhow.
I'm thinking more of a niche market. Friday night, 6 beers into the second 18 pack, and run out of beer. Just get into the car in the passenger's seat and say, "Car - Beer Store."
And there it goes. But we'll need a robot to go into the store, recognize the brand and the size of the carton, and then use a credit card to make the purchase (I wouldn't expect a robot to be able to handle paper money and coins).
