        Actually, back when I was fooling around a lot (owned probly 200 different ones) with 1st Gen Camaros I vaguely remember at least the 69's with manual trans was exempt from that pump. I always thought that was odd.

          ok i wasnt up to par on the air pumps used then, ive had a couple cars and trucks that had them but always got rid of them, not required in texas back then
