    Always. What bent the pushrods?

More than likely, those are probably positive stop rocker arm studs - they aren't "adjustable"... they just look like they are. Was there anything on the piston tops indicating Mr. Valve had been to see Mr. Piston?

Ford used mostly press in studs that you torqued down to 20 pounds or somewhere thereabouts.. there will be a shoulder on the stud for that type of rocker arm stud setup. An adjustable stud shouldn't have the shoulder and should be a screw in stud. I can see a pushrod bending if it got rotated through with something between the piston and the valve like the screw you had mentioned. Just checking.

I get felpro gasket kits from the rebuilder for less than 100.00, just over it if you order for a newer car like an Explorer that has better gaskets and the GT40 intake gaskets I usually want. Try your local mass builder? The autotrader used to be a good source of finding out who that is.

I'm not really sure about the "melonized" gear yet on a roller cam. Time will tell.

Officially, I don't because the company I work for uses them on our Ford engines. Unofficially, the giant HEI is the like the elephant in the room under the hood of a Mustang. It draws your attention from the rest of the motor.

Maybe not, if you paint that HEI cap black to blend in.

The real waste is wasting your time and money on a '66 coupe when you got that cool '71 fastback and a Firebird Formula.

J/K. Have fun with your new toy. Besides, chicks dig those mustangs.

I like your 66 but then again I'm a little biased. What are you planning for it?

Yes, it sits a little low.

Thanks! It has a pretty worked over front suspension, handles like a slot car. I'm running a lot of caster and camber. Next up is a set of 13.2" '13 Mustang GT rotors and calipers, Rousch Racing is prsctically giving them away. A bracket kit is $230
