More than likely, those are probably positive stop rocker arm studs - they aren't "adjustable"... they just look like they are. Was there anything on the piston tops indicating Mr. Valve had been to see Mr. Piston?Last edited by Beagle; September 8, 2013, 11:42 PM.Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.

Ford used mostly press in studs that you torqued down to 20 pounds or somewhere thereabouts.. there will be a shoulder on the stud for that type of rocker arm stud setup. An adjustable stud shouldn't have the shoulder and should be a screw in stud. I can see a pushrod bending if it got rotated through with something between the piston and the valve like the screw you had mentioned. Just checking.Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.

I'm not really sure about the "melonized" gear yet on a roller cam. Time will tell.Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.
