    i have a new helper

well about 2 weeks ago some one at my work dumped a cat int he back of truck. noticed it was there when i went out later after i gt home and heard this yowling coming form it and i see this little thing

gave it some food and water it stayed for a bit then wandered off

fast forward a week and i see it again at my work. it walked 5 miles back to my work where it was first dumped into the back of my truck at. then today it walked 5 miles BACK to my house looking for food so decided to keep it seeing as it was that detrimed to cross a 4 lane highway and 5 miles to get back

decided to name it Silverado after my truck where i found it at need to take it to a vet pretty sure it;s still a kitten as it is bugger then the first time i saw it 2 weeks ago

If that's still a kitten, Silverado is going to be a house lion!

it's actually pretty small the pictures make it look bigger then it is. we are guessing 6 months as it did get a 1/4 larger over the 2 weeks cats stop growing at about 8 to 9 months

and yeah it's going to be a big kitty

I ended up with a cat about 2 years ago. I was driving down the road to my house and noticed a black 300 driving towards me with what I assumed was a plastic bacg stuck to the grill but as it got closer I noticed it wasnt a bag. It was moving, back and forth. I flagged the driver down and she thought I was a loon until she saw it. A cute litte white, brown and black calico stuck inside the nose cowl. I pulled it out fully expectiong to get torn to shreds but it just sat there. Once she was out I set her down expecting her to take off, again I was wrong. She started purring and rubbing up my leg. I tossed her in the truck and she sat on the arm rest the rest of the way to the house. She has been a wonderful pet, sweet as can be. Loves to sit on my lap and sleeps next to me all night. She even talks to me, she will meow and I will do it back and on it goes louder and longer. Best cat i've ever encountered.

Nice cats! Our old tortise shell was a great cat, rescued from being fed to a group of pit bulls at the age of about 1 month... Lived to the ripe old age of 22. We miss her. Maybe another will show up now that's its been a year or so.

Buddy had to work on a Sunday and company regulations forbid him from being in the woods alone (service truck repairs)
Usually his wife rides along.. But that day I did.. Had to go thru a locked gate and he fixed the equipment, as we were leaving, a kitten was around the truck.. We looked under it before leaving, didn't see it.. 20 miles of highway and 4 of gravel roads at my house.. The kids and he heard meowing.. My daughter pulled out a redish/brown kitten.. Not the same one.. That one was black.. She gave it a bath.. It was black! We had that cat 15 years

ID:	872235Here's the one guarding the family and I, named Dinkleman. Several years ago I was telling the kids about the Himalayan that their Mom and I had when we first got married, and got on the internet to show them pics of what they looked like. Three hours later I'm looking at a breeder's website not far from where we had gotten ours, and lo and behold, they had a cat that was descended from the same parents as our old kitty. I called the lady up and told her I would take him, and then threw the two boys in the car and drove 21 hours to pick him up. Best money I have ever spent, including cars.

Awwww! I have a thing for black cats; I had one for 15+ years before he gave in to kidney disease and now have Boo, my little princess. The fun part is getting up in the middle of the night and having the poo scared out of you because you don't see them! Congrats on your new addition

His real name is Bob. I don't know how he got from Indy to Mt, Pleasant in that short of time but I want him back. I shot another cat out of the tree in the front yard that kept kicking his but. Oh, there you are Bob.........Hey Mater......never mind. Nice looking cat. I got his twin.
