Need more info - but the mustang will always be easier to get parts for and be worth more.... but that side trim on those year fairlanes makes them one of my all time favorites.

I'd take the Fairlane, drop a suitable junkyard engine and trans in, and go. I'm feeling too lazy to want to finish the Mustang.
