I was just up in mom's garage attic the other day looking for some old federal pacific circuit breakers I thought I stashed there. I came across my stash of magazines from the 60's to 80's. I'll have to dig them out.

Yeah, those were really cool magazines! I think there was a Science Illustrated also back then that I liked

I don't know if this is still possible, I gave about 39 years worth to Goodwill and got a tax write off. Don't remember how much I wrote off but it helps on the taxes

You guys that have anything from '80 back and don't know what to do with it, can send it this way...that's where my collection trails off.

    I have Nat Geo's to 1958...

I have a short stack of Car Craft and PHR from '81 and '82 that I bought new back in high school that are treasure to me. Anything from late 80's and up that don't have anything interesting I have tossed over the years. I get 3 mags in the mail every month, CC, HOT ROD and Muscle Car Review. CC and HR get a quick read and usually wind up in the garbage unless there's a great car or a good tech article.

I have a few old Popular Mechanics (small ones),anyone ever read them? They are great I wouldnt get rid of them and really like to look at the old articles and pictures. If you see them at a flea market or something pick a few up ,really cool.

I'm a semi-recovering Magazinaholic . I have basically all HRM from 1951 to now, and multiples
of some. Most CC , C&D , R&T,and various different magazines named Drag Racing along the way.
    Many SS&DI , HRM specials , M/T , Car life et al.
Last winter I tossed about 1100 , after a vain attempt to sell or give some away. Young guys mostly don't want them , or
are shocked by the shpg cost. They are HEAVY . All issues tossed were judged expendable by me . I have a tiny house , and need room.
I have other interests , and read and receive a bunch of other mags and bulletins etc.

I think the oldest Hot Rod Magazine I have is from 1957 or 1958.

I have boxes full of all the old car magazines from the early 60's when they used to cost .25 cents each.

I am not interesting in selling any of them because I enjoy reading them from time to time.

Sell them at the swap meet. 10 for a dollar, people will buy them. I have sold many that way, mostly to younger kids.

I use to dump my mags at the local VA hospital in LA. A friend used to volunteer there and said they only had Golf Digest and People.
