  • around the world in a sailboat

A fresh launch with modern gadgets.

I am keeping track with this link

    the story:
Stanley Paris' solo non-stop circumnavigation on Kiwi Spirt II

Right now, about 400 miles east of America. That is way out there, little boat.. quite a quest.

he fibbed. there is an engine for emergencies. He also has a gadget around his neck if he falls off the boat, the boat can come back to him.

Hopefully it's a Hemi or a boxer... Or a hemi boxer

My mom sailed around the world on a 57' ketch. (In 2 separate voyages) lots of cool stories and pictures about it on the web. Google roger Swanson cloud 9 yacht, (that's her friend who owned the boat)

incredible dream. lonely is not an option, every move is important. I was in the cold waters of maine for some lobster fishing, my uncle and I. It is not far out to encounter 50 foot swells, making 40-60 foot boats seems like a canoe with a tall bow. The thermals could even stop a well larded man. Just one summer altered me forever. I think of family history every time I am out there in the ocean. Some scary large individuals for sure.

just took this boat ride not long ago. Isle au haut. my dad brother and I sitting up front. I strapped the camera to the front. Nice day.

my dad got going on boats, went and bought a bad one. I welded the trailer up this past week, ready for a big four stroke outboard.

          looking forward to it.

reading up on the voyage you mentioned. Absolutely epic. Rip mr. Swanson.
