Sounds like a great time. Probably too chilly for me (I don't do well in cold weather).

If I make it back down there with my red car by then, and it passes Tech, I might race too. That would be stupid fun, and the old Formy is incredibly consistent.

Sounds like fun. Maybe I will run Caprice. If I break it, it's a short tow home.

In Hastings there is a road race track that does some 1/8 mile, and another way over by Omaha. Nebraska is the sleeper state when it comes to car stuff, you would never believe how many gearheads live there if you didnt see it for yourself.

KRP is a nice track, they repaved it a while back and removed the bump in the right lane that unsettled my car right at the 1-2 shift. Its come a long way in the last 20 years. Cant wait to make more passes there.

I am planning to go Saturday. I still not sure if I will race. Depends on cost. It's a points race day, so I may not be able to run. All I want to do is see how it runs on a 1/4 mile. I have never ran it in the 12 years I've owned.

If I don't run it, I will snapping pics. If anyone else is going, let me know.

Go for it Scott! 25 bucks for no-box on Saturday is a deal, not clear on wether you need to buy an additional Tech card or not though. Plus it's an NHRA Open so the track should killer. Not to mention getting to see some awesome wheelstanding Stock & Super Stockers.....

We are having an Open at Maple Grove this weekend also. No brackets though, too many class cars in Division 1.

It's not weekly. But, it's quite a bit. Here's this year's schedule. Between this track and the road track over in Hastings, I could keep busy with my two cars.
