  • Engine Masters 2013

    That mod motor is stout.

Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

Awesome. The 1.66 foot pounds per cubic inch by Accufab. I love the engine masters challenge on the big engines. To slap a v8 together for regular fuel and go big whether one likes it or not...would need to stop at 3.8 liters. The rest is goddamn big, need some science and know how. I still wonder if it is the masters challenge being the first to recover the real power of those giants. Always nice to see every year.

A number of members of our Hemi team are working on the Throttle's Performance Pontiac. Damn strong entry for that architecture.

We're currently in third after getting bumped by the 4-cammer and a stout LS

So I'm looking at the scores from last year...... The Early Hemi scored 2456 for Runner Up, Late Hemi to win the Street Class @ 2487, and the Winning Extreme Engine (pretty much unlimited class - Max Compression, Unlimited Heads, C16 Fuel, Cams nearing 1" lift etc) scored 3000 points. Now given the rules this year 2800 to me was a winner (and figured a Mod would get it being 4V), these Mod Fords are nearing 3000 points on .600 lift Hydraulic Cams, Pump Gas, and 11.5:1???????

Something don't add up here or this has to be the most efficient engine on the planet!!!!!

Are you thinking of building one just to figure them out?

          Or a northstar.

The Pontiac picked up Editor's Choice at the banquet. After being in the hunt for three days, they fell to 9th when the big hitters made pulls today.
