heck, if there's a style, there's tv show that covers it.

I think it's finally happened. We've covered it all - when's the last time you went to a car show, or drove down the street and saw a car and thought "wow, I've never seen that before"?

local, we say "tin can" for some. Rice was not a big enough international word. My brother -n-law jokes to call his 2010 chevy a tin can. We are getting to be old school I guess. I see "econobox" that must be for tin can too. Yes that list covers it all.

How about Euro-American Hybrid? I know a guy who's building a Fiat roadster with some kind of American V-8.

I still get a customer emailing me with a build so bizarre it makes me do a double take every month or so around here. Last one I really remember was a Nissan Maxima V6 swapped into a DeLorean.

I think you missed my point, which was a response to your original question.......

I'm not sure I understand the point. Dare to be different has been played out. Every trend is played out, sure. But - the thrill of building something you've always wanted - even if it's been done before - is still a thrill - right?

I still want a cobra kit car someday

I still want to build a 30's or 40's street rod someday

I'm sure both of those cars will be very similar to ones that already exist - but they will be new to me, and I will enjoy them....
Heck I'll probably even build the front steering and suspension right the first time!
There's always something new to learn.

that used to be a beetle. There is the rotary engine that stumps categories. I remember once, they tried to put the 3 main boxer in with them. Displacement and job done are not in the same universal think.. .but that is the only two. Even jet cars gain another jet car to hang with.
