I still want a cobra kit car someday

I still want to build a 30's or 40's street rod someday

I'm sure both of those cars will be very similar to ones that already exist - but they will be new to me, and I will enjoy them....
Heck I'll probably even build the front steering and suspension right the first time!
right, so you're telling me to stop with my middle of the road builds?

AC Cobra kit car with a LS7 and C6 front/rear suspension is on my buck list....

as for doing a suspension right, I've yet to have it work the first time - so I don't think I'd be so concerned about it.... again we do it for fun

        Ghost porn? that'd be unremarkable.

          You forgot hybrids.
Mazda RX7/Buick powered. Cobra's were built in a factory!! Neat car back in the 60s but not very good today. Mazda is more fun to drive an faster ;-)

[QUOTE=milner351;819073] But - the thrill of building something you've always wanted - even if it's been done before - is still a thrill - right?

I still have the images of the cars in the high school parking lot, late 70's. My next project, hopefully, will be something that would look like it would be from that era.

              !
so if I were the mean, opportunistic type; I'd say something about how I like driving my cars, thus, I avoid Fords because it seems all you do is push them...

however, I'm not the type to say that, so I'll simply say this.

I like driving them, I build them because I have an absolute hatred of spending money that I don't have to because I have the skills and shop to do it myself.... but truth be told, if I never had grease under my nails, the smokers hack from welding steel, and sneezing bondo - I'd do it in a heartbeat.
